Retin-A's and AHA's Can Improve Scarring

There are a number of topical products which contain agents such as Retin-A and alpha hydroxy acid which can improve acne, and possibly help stimulate new collagen formation to improve acne scarring. The alpha hydroxyl acid and retinoid peels will help exfoliate the skin, and improve its look and texture.

Sunscreen is Important

Also important is a good topical regimen, including a sunscreen applied daily. Once we've treated the active acne and are using a good daily skin care regimen, we can move on to improving the acne scars already there.
